  • originally buried on the battlefield at 36c.G17c.2.4 (also described as between old British and German front lines to north of Lone Tree, near Hulluch). His body was exhumed (from H19.c.1.8, though cross was no longer on grave) in October/November 1919 and moved to Plot III, Row K, Grave 16 in Dud Corner Military Cemetery at Loos. Gravestone: “Captain D.M. Hanna, Royal Berkshire Regiment, 25th September 1915, Age 43” - no personal inscription. CWGC
