  • 1914-15 Star, British War Medal, Victory Medal

 

Memorials: 

  • None (His funeral was at 2.30 p.m. on Tuesday 18th January 1944 at St Giles Church, South Mimms, Hertfordshire, England. According the burial register, he was buried in the churchyard on 29th January 1944. I have found the family grave which names his father and two brothers but there is no mention of him. There is a hawthorn tree growing out of the grave, throwing the gravestones in disarray, and reaching way into the sky.)
