After the war his grave became part of Bois-Carré Military Cemetery, Haisnes, Pas-de-Calais, France (at 44a.G17b.8.2), and is numbered A.31. Gravestone: “Captain W.S.D Oldman, Royal Berkshire Regiment, 25th September 1915, Age 36” - no personal inscription.
